School Nurse Field Supervisor

William Paterson University invites applications for Adjunct Faculty positions in the Department of Nursing for School Nurse Practicum - Field Supervision.  

This position ensures that students get state mandated supervision and feedback during their School Nurse Practicum. The Adjunct will arrange to visit students at their practicum site as required.  Field positions have become available due to a rapidly expanding program.  


Required Qualifications:

  • Certified - New Jersey State School Nurse Instructional Certification
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Education, or a health related field
  • Up-to-date knowledge of New Jersey requirements for health office and health education
  • Demonstrated knowledge of lesson planning and instructional strategies
  • Ability to effectively review student work and provide meaningful feedback
  • Available Monday through Friday during school hours
  • Possesses current driver's license and properly registered transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three or more years experience, either part-time or full-time, as a school nurse
