Lawrence Verzani

Professor • Economics, Finance and Global Business

Dr. Verzani has been a faculty member within the Cotsakos College of Business since 2014. He is a professor of Personal Financial Planning and Wealth Management. Dr. Verzani has previously worked in operations for Prudential Financial where he oversaw several projects related to a large class action lawsuit for deceptive sales practices. His publications on investor behavior have been published peer-reviewed journals. He earned his Ph.D. in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University and his dissertation included 3 papers centered on mistakes in financial decision making by U.S. households. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from California State University Los Angeles.
