Scott Scardena

Instructor • Special Education, Professional Counseling and Disability Studies

Dr. Scott Scardena's clinical experience is predominantly in higher education at both the community college and 4-year institutions. He also holds his school counseling certification in NJ. In both the community college and 4 year institutions, he has had the opportunity to work with traditional and non-traditional students assisting with the emotional, social and academic concerns as they balance the multiple life roles of student, family member, worker, and many more. His current professional interests are focused on mentoring and clinical supervision for CITs and LACs transitioning to the field. He has numerous presentations at the regional and national levels. Dr. Scardena is also an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) and an Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Certified Practitioner.
