Megan Chesin Professor • Department of Psychology View CV Website Dr. Chesin is a Full Professor at William Paterson University (WPUNJ), and serves on the core faculty for the PsyD Program. She also holds an appointment at the Veterans Affairs New Jersey Health Care System. She completed her graduate studies in Clinical Psychology at the City University of New York and a postdoctoral research fellowship at Columbia University. She studies biobehavioral risk factors for impulsive-aggression, third-wave behavioral interventions, and mechanisms that explain treatment gains among impulsive and aggressive individuals. She is the 2016 recipient of the Young Investigator Award from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and the 2019 recipient of the WPUNJ College of Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty Research Excellence Award.
