John Bae (Ph.D., Florida State University) is a professor of Undergraduate Sport Management and Graduate Sport Administration at William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey. His research interests include two different areas: consumer shopping behavior and sport facility management. His primary interest area is to explore and compare consumers’ shopping habits, interests, and characteristics between and among different countries in relation to athletic apparel. As sport apparel companies become more globalized, there is an increased focus on international marketing. His secondary interest area is to study the satisfaction of physically disabled consumers in sport facilities. Many studies have investigated sports consumers’ satisfaction. However, studies of consumers with disabilities have rarely treated in sport management area. For national and international Paralympic games, sport management area, therefore, should be focused and considered to develop better environments for consumers with disabilities. He has been published in scholarly journals in the area of sport management.
