Avinash Arya

Professor • Department of Accounting & Law

Dr. Arya joined the Accounting and Law Department as an associate professor at William Paterson University in 2009. Dr. He was promoted to full professor in 2014. Dr. Arya has worked as management accounting for five years prior to becoming full time faculty. His work experience enables him to bring real world experience in classroom. Prior to joining William Paterson University, he taught at Morgan State University and University of Michigan. He has published in many prestigious journals including Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance, Journal of Business Ethics, and CPA Journal. He has taught a wide array of accounting courses both at the undergraduate and graduate level.
