WPU ELA Skill Builder: Slam Poetry (Grades 6-8)

Release your inner poet!  Slam poetry combines free verse, specific words and phrases, and emotional appeal. Choose your own topic and unleash your creativity as you develop skills in outlining a story, creating a message for an audience, deciding on style and tone, and drafting until you get just what you want. Practice with friends, learn from master slam poets and become one yourself. 

Drop off will be at 300 Pompton Road, Parking Lot 5,  in front of Speert Hall, between 8:30 & 9 AM
