June 26 - June 29: (4 Days) Artistic Expression 101 (Grades 6 - 8)

Artistic expression is a powerful tool for self-expression, often serving as a means for social commentary. The instructor will choose between 3 - 5 famous artists who expressed themselves through various mediums for students to examine. 

"Artistic Expression 101" for students in grades 6 – 8, will expose students to a sampling of famous pieces from diverse mediums; students will choose one style of famous artwork to develop their own piece based off the style by the end of the week.
