July 18 - 21: JAVA Programming (Grades 6 - 8)

An entry-level class in programming, this course includes an overview of data structures, inheritance, duplication, branching and techniques using JAVA. The class helps beginners gain a basic understanding of JAVA programming, applications and object-oriented programming. Students learn how to write programs in JAVA. Topics covered include fundamentals of algorithms, flowcharts, problem solving, programming concepts, classes and methods, control structures, arrays, and strings.
