Understanding Your Strengths and Challenges: Middle School Summer Transition Camp 7/29-8/2/19

This program provides middle school students with IEPs and 504 plans a structured educational experience that will allow them to understand their strengths and challenges in their educational journey.  Students will explore the ingredients of academic success, including perseverance, organization skills, self-advocacy, time management, confidence, positive self-talk, motivation, and relaxation. Students will each develop a success plan to help them start thinking about high school and their future.  In addition, students will receive a copy of The Survival Guide for Kids in Special Education by Wendy L.
