Summer Entrepreneurship Challenge 7/29-8/2/19

Students in Grades 8-12

Do you have dreams of starting your own company or business one day? Join the summer entrepreneurship class for a unique experience where students work in a challenging and fast-paced business boot-camp with hands-on business projects. Working in a simulated entrepreneurial setting, you and your classmates will start and run your own businesses, develop product ideas and work on promotional plans to bring them to life. As a team or alone, you will also engage in a variety of business-related projects and develop your own business plan. During this exciting and challenging week, you will acquire leadership and team-building skills, develop new friendships and learn valuable lessons.

Throughout the course of the week, you'll have the opportunity to explore the following subject areas:

• Product development/Promotion

• Business social responsibility
• Communication skills
• Risk management
• Research
• Public speaking skills
• Startup Financing
