WPU Transition Program 2024-2025 Fall Semester
The William Paterson Transition Program, designed for students ages 18 – 21, is a non-credit program where students with IEPs & 504 plans can work to receive a certificate of completion from the College of Education as they learn a specialized industry trade.
The program offers students the opportunity to learn new skills by completing Professional Certifications, exploring career options, and experiencing college life through weekly mentorship by WPUNJ students. Parents can select the specialized trade appropriate for the students based on academics, career path, and life goals to prepare them to become marketable and independent based on their capacity.
Program Time 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM
- 9:30 – 9:50 AM Students arrive at WP's Campus
- 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM (w/ a 45-minute lunch break)
- 1:30 – 2:00 PM Student pick-up
