July 31 - August 3: (4 Days): Business Economics / Supply Chain Managment (Grades 9 - 12)

Supply chain management (SCM) is the centralized management of the flow of goods and services and includes all processes that transform raw materials into final products. By managing the supply chain, companies can cut excess costs and deliver products to the consumer faster and more efficiently. Understanding how SCM functions is a growing focus in industries, allowing companies to streamline their costs and develop more financially efficient strategies. 

This goes hand in hand with understanding business economics! Business economics is a field of study that reviews the implementation of the economic system in business operations. It assists in utilizing the nature and importance of financial analysis to clarify business problems. 

Students will learn the basics of both SCM and business econ; and more importantly how to apply this brand of focused strategic thinking into every day real world business problems.
