July 18 - 21: Energy Creators

The world is falling short on natural energy creation.  In this class we will talk about clever ways to create your own energy. We will create a PSA on energy conservation and work through the week making different mini machines that could create power one day.  We will create a paper wind mill, a water wheel and a solar energy collector.  Before we create each we will learn more about the problem of energy depletion and students will create their own solutions.  Students would understand more about the natural energy around them. They would also become inventors and engineers trying to solve a global problem.
