This is a 14-week course covering 280 hours worth of instruction.

Six Sigma Green Belt Training

The Six Sigma Green Belt Certification will familiarize participants in the use of the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) approach to problem solving key Business issues, introduce and understand at a conceptual level the use of the various Lean Six Sigma tools.  The course structure will be in line with ASQs body of knowledge structure and will prepare the participants to take the ASQs Green Belt certification exam.

You will learn:

• What is DMAIC and how to use for a typical Business issue
• Conceptual clarity on the use of the various Lean Six Sigma tools
• Live examples in a workshop setting
• Introduction to Minitab

Who should attend:

Managers, Engineers tasked to lead implementation of Lean Six Sigma program in a company.

Six Sigma Black Belt Training

Course Objectives:

Six Sigma Black Belt Training will build on the materials covered in Green Belt Training. In addition, following topics will be covered in greater detail:

 Hypothesis Testing

 Design of Experiments

 Lean Principles using the Pull Model

 (Note 1 : Students will work on a Project that will help to clarify concepts. Typically the Problem selected for the Project will be from the industry the student belongs to.

 Note 2 : The course structure will be in line with ASQs body of knowledge  and will prepare the participants to take the ASQs Black Belt certification exam)
