DRAWING TECHNIQUE GRADES 8-12 & DRAWING AND PAINTING WITH PORTFOLIO REVIEW 7/22-8/2/19

Week 1:

DRAWING TECHNIQUE GRADES 8-12

In this class you will create compelling portfolio drawings that showcase your mastery of the fundamentals of drawing. Emphasis will be placed on understanding of form in space and volumetric rendering. Drawings will be made from both direct observation of models and set ups as well as photographs and illustrations.

DRAWING AND PAINTING WITH PORTFOLIO REVIEW

Draw and paint with us in this weeklong workshop, a "must" for anyone passionate about art! You will also discover useful skills in the creation and presentation of an art portfolio.   The program will end at noon on Friday. Technology fee included

Week 2:

DIGITAL ART AND DESIGN

Express your creative side using the computer as an art-making and graphic design tool. Students will learn how to develop visual ideas with the help computer software. Create dynamic imagery using Adobe Photoshop, focusing on learning practical art and professional design skills while having a great time. This workshop is open to high school students at varied skill levels.
