PARCC Narrative and Speculative Writing 8/11 and 8/12/15

In the intermediate and middle school classroom (6 hours)

Teachers will learn strategies for teaching the basics of story writing, including narrative hooks, creative elements, using dialogue effectively, memorization strategies and some compositional risk techniques to increase student scores on speculative writing tasks.
