The Patient Care Technician Certification (PCTC) program at William Paterson University is a comprehensive, hands-on experience designed to prepare students for the PCTC certification exam through the American Medical Certification Association.
The cost of this program includes the Certification exam through AMCA as well as the textbook, a stethoscope, and blood pressure cuff. Students are required to have malpractice insurance and bring their own own scrubs to wear for class (Green/Blue).
CPR and BLS certifications are strongly recommended.
