Negotiating 8/10 - 8/24/19


The goal of the course is to give students a solid foundation in the art and science of Negotiating and to master key principles.  The course will help students to be better prepared for their career in whichever industry they choose.  The course will use real estate examples and other industry examples of negotiating including important case studies. The course will also define key terminology and allow for role playing and mock negotiations as a way to provide negotiating practice and experience. When students go to negotiate contracts, deals, salaries, etc.  they will be fully prepared and armed with a wealth of industry knowledge. They will also have an understanding of the tactics, strategies and jargon that will be used to make deals as all aspects of negotiating will be covered and the appropriate tools and knowledge will be provided. Various assignments will be given throughout the duration of the course.
