NECI Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) Certification
Class Dates: 11/16, 11/17, 11/30, 12/1, 12/7, 12/8, 12/14, 12/15
This course will be delivered fully online in real time.
This is a 24-hour national certification or 32-hour NJ certification course that certifies formerly trained and experienced emergency communications personnel with the NHTSA EMD National Standard Curriculum. Its primary purpose is to ensure that the student possesses the baseline knowledge and skills to function in the role of an Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD).
This program meets the following EMD national certification standards:
NHTSA Standard 11
ASTM 1258 (Standard Practice for EMD)
ASTM 1552 (EMD Selection Criteria)
ASTM 1560 (EMD Program Management)
This course requires CPR certification in order to enroll.
