Illustrating Childrens Books 7/13-7/17/15

Using several well-known classics of children's literature, students in this workshop will create their own unique responses to these texts.  This class will include art making, light reading, conversations and critiques.  Creativity, originality and enjoyment will be emphasized; no prior experience in illustration is needed!  Professor Triada Samaras

Professor Samaras is a practicing artist and an Adjunct Professor at WPU who co-teaches "Creative Arts and Children's Literature in Early Childhood" in the WPU Education Department with Dr. Janis Strasser.
