Game Design for High School (Commuter) and C++ Programming 7/25-7/29/16

Morning Program: Game Design 

This course introduces the student to Gaming Design involving concepts of program specification and design, game development, and coding and testing with Multimedia Fusion 2. Students learn how to create games through a series of hands on tutorials.  Games include side-scrolling, turn based, and free form flight (Asteroids like).  Students will understand how to beta test and revise designs.   

Afternoon Program: C++ Programming

This course introduces the student to C++ programming through discussion and hands on use involving concepts of program specification and design, algorithm development, and coding and testing. Students learn how to write programs in C++ programming language. Topics covered include fundamentals of algorithms, flowcharts, problem solving, programming concepts, classes and methods, control structures, arrays, and strings.
