Blackboard Content Accessibility & Archiving Notice

Dear William Paterson Faculty,

We would like to inform you of updates to our Blackboard Learning Management System:

• Current Content Access: All users can access Blackboard materials from the last two academic years.
• Extended Archiving: IT is now archiving five additional years of content. This content will be stored securely and can be accessed upon request, though it won’t be immediately visible on Blackboard.
• Old Archives: For content older than seven years, please contact the Helpdesk by May 15th for access. Content older than 7 years will be permanently deleted after this date.

For any inquiries or assistance with Blackboard, including accessing archived materials, the Helpdesk is ready to support you.
