Join us for Explorations Keynote Speaker, author Lisa Guerrero
Inside Edition's Chief Investigative Correspondent Lisa Guerrero has released a new memoir, "Warrior: My Path to Being Brave." In the book, she chronicles the pathway to her career and shares personal stories, including the harassment she faced throughout her decade as a Sports Reporter. Lisa will join the William Paterson University Community at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, in Hamilton Hall 122A, as a Keynote Speaker for Explorations.
Additionally, our own Associate Professor of Communication, Nicholas Hirshon, will moderate a discussion with Inside Edition chief investigative correspondent Lisa Guerrero, The athletic reporter Katie Strang, Axios Reporter Isaac Avilucea, and USA Today reporter Thomas Zambito. The panelists contributed to a special issue of the academic journal American Journalism that Dr. Hirshon edited last fall on the history of investigative journalism. The live stream will have a national presence for William Paterson University, given that members of the American Journalism Historians Association will also be in attendance on Zoom. We will also raffle off copies of Guerrero's new memoir, Warrior. Please join us for this exciting event either live or on Zoom.
