Sign up for Multifactor Authentication on your Student account!!  Join us on Tuesday with any questions you have! 

Students can now protect their WPUNJ accounts with Duo multifactor authentication. With phishing email scams becoming more complex, we’ve had several WP compromised accounts over the past year. We always suggest using a complex and unique password for your WPUNJ account.  Unfortunately, passwords are not always enough. Duo Multifactor Authentication will help add an additional layer of protection to your account. 

How does Duo work? 
After entering your username and password, you will be prompted to approve your login with the Duo Mobile smartphone app. (More information can be found at last week’s announcement or on our itwiki www.wpunj.edu/itwiki – search Duo or Multifactor Authentication)  

Where can I get help? 

Join us for a zoom session Tuesday January 25th from 12:30-1:30pm!  We will walk you thru the signup as well as the app authentication!   If you have questions or would like assistance in setting up Duo on your account, please contact our IT Helpdesk at www.wpunj.edu/help or (973) 720-4357. 
 
I want to enroll, how do I enable Duo on my WPUNJ account? 
Note: you will need a smartphone to install the Duo mobile app 

1. Login to WPconnect 

2. In WPconnect, click on your name (either at the top right corner or in the mobile menu) and then click My Profile 

3. In the My Profile menu, click Enroll in Duo Multifactor Authentication 

4. Read the information on the Duo information page and then click Continue to Enrollment 

5. On the enrollment page, click Start Setup and then follow the instructions on the enrollment page (make sure to have your mobile device available.)
