Microsoft Teams Changes

Please be advised that Microsoft Teams, now called Microsoft Teams classic, is being transitioned to "New Teams".  “New Teams” looks virtually identical to Teams Classic but has many improvements.  If your Teams app icon has the word New on it, you are already using the new Teams application.  If you are still using Teams Classic, you can toggle over to the New Teams.

In the coming weeks, Microsoft will be moving more users from the Classic application.  You may see in-app notifications prompting you to switch.  Please do so when it is convenient for you.  Additional information can be found at in the Microsoft User Experience section of the classic teams end of availability notice. 

Starting this summer, the “New Teams” application will be the only version available to install from the Software Center.  Teams classic will be phased out on WPU managed computers.
