From Classroom to Career: Getting the Experience

Join the Advisement Center & Career Development Center for, "From Classroom to Career: Getting the Experience” on Thursday, March 12 from 12:30-1:30pm (common hour) in the UC Ballrooms, across from the dining hall.

Come explore more about your experiential learning opportunities both on and off campus. These can be in the form of required/optional fieldwork experience, internships, clinicals or independent studies for your majors for credit or it can be discussing how to identify off campus opportunities with employers connected to our Career Development Center and several other NEW experiential learning opportunities they now have to offer to students like you. 

This event will offer students:

• Career support with resumes, networking, creating LinkedIn/Handshake profiles, interview tips & elevator pitches
• Discuss experiential learning opportunities within our academic departments and colleges 
• Connect with academic advisors & faculty on departmental requirements, expectations & recommendations
• Take LinkedIn/Handshake headshots (Dress for Success!)

We will also have FREE lunch and giveaways while supplies last for attendees! Students will receive credit for the Career & Professional Success Badge: Module 2!!
