IRT's Center for Teaching with Technology is happy to announce the following upcoming offerings: the Quality Assurance Certificate, the Accessibility Certificate, and the Blackboard Ultra Institute.
Please join IRT's Center for Teaching with Technology for a Quality Assurance Certificate workshop on Monday, August 21 and Tuesday, August 22, meeting from 10am to 2:30pm on each of those days. In this remote workshop, held via Zoom, faculty will learn strategies and gain tools to redesign existing online courses to meet Quality Matters standards. And finally, we are happy to announce some additional opportunities to learn more about the changes coming in the next version of Blackboard: Blackboard Ultra. Starting in the Fall 2023 semester, all course shells will look and work a little differently from what we've gotten used to over the years, with the older "Original Experience" being replaced by the new "Ultra Experience" that will be used going forward.
To help ease the transition, we are offering a 90-minute overview of Blackboard Ultra, via Zoom, twice a day on most days (from 10:00am to 11:30am and from 1:00pm to 2:30pm). And to accommodate those who might not be available during the day, we're also offering four additional evening sessions to the schedule.
