We invite you to participate in “Seeing Our Adult Learners: A Teaching Circle to Share Pedagogical Practices,” a unique series of discussions and collaborative sessions focused on integrating the Blue Ribbon Task Force's recommended pedagogical practices into your teaching to support our growing adult learner population.

Workshop Schedule:

  • November 14, 5-6 p.m. (Zoom):
Topic: Discussing Pedagogical Recommendations from the Blue Ribbon Task Force Report
Explore the report’s key recommendations and discuss how to engage adult leaders with the PATCHES* strategies consistently.
  • December – March (Independent Implementation):
During this period, we encourage participants to incorporate recommended PATCHES practices into their teaching intentionally.  Participants will be able to experiment with these approaches in their own settings while reflecting on their experiences to share with the group in April.
  • April 1, 5-6 p.m. (Zoom):
Topic: Sharing Insights from the Implementation Phase
In this final session, participants will present their insights, successes, and challenges encountered, offering practical examples and reflections from their teaching.
