As you review undergraduate student writing (in any course or discipline), please keep in mind that the Writing Across the Curriculum program is once again looking for examples of excellent student writing (all genres) to be included in its annual publication, Celebrating Student Writing. The deadline for entries is May 31st.
Please consider nominating your students. Guidelines and application form are below. Winners receive a $100 gift card along with the pleasure of seeing their work in featured in the "Celebrating Student Writing” annual magazine, and you will feel rewarded for having nurtured fine writing in your courses. WRITING ACROSS THE CURRICULUM PROGRAM
Eligibility:
• Student writing must be nominated by a (full or part-time) faculty member
• Previously published writing is not eligible
• Entries must have been produced for an undergraduate course at WPU between Summer 2023 and Spring 2024.
Application must include:
(1) completed contest entry form (see below)
(2) electronic copy of written piece being submitted
(3) assignment instructions or brief description
(4) permission from the student (signature below or consent via email)
