Calling all University orchestra musicians!

The William Paterson University Symphony Orchestra welcomes all University string players: Violin, viola, cello, bass. We also welcome woodwinds, brass, and percussion. New students and returning students, grad students, interested faculty and staff - all are encouraged to come and make music with the Symphony which rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 9:30 PM in Shea 103 (ground level under the Shea Box Office porch). If you played in a school, church or youth orchestra, please consider joining us each week . There are also opportunities for other orchestral instruments, particularly horn, oboe and bassoon. The University Symphony performed last semester in Carnegie Hall (https://nyconcertreview.com/reviews/distinguished-concerts-international-new-york-dciny-presents-windsongs-in-review-3/) and we look forward to an exciting semester on campus. You may register for MUS 2500 for undergraduate or graduate credit or can participate without registering.

Please contact sandra.dackow@wpunj.edu or call 201-574-5782 for more information. Faculty and staff are especially encouraged to join us, but all are welcome. Please respond if interested so we can plan to include you and have music ready and for you. We will begin rehearsals on Wednesday, September 4 at 6:45 PM
