Students can now protect their WPUNJ accounts with Duo multifactor authentication. If you would like to schedule an appointment for a member of the IT Helpdesk to assist you with enrollment, please visit our bookings site to schedule a Teams Meeting!
What is Duo?
Similar to two-factor or multifactor authentication used by banking, shopping, and social media sites, Duo multifactor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your WP account and its access to your WPconnect, WP email, Blackboard and other university systems. This extra security protects access to your information and also helps prevent against scams targeting employees and students.
Duo is required for all student employees, it is currently optional for all other students. We encourage you to enroll now, as Duo enrollment will be required in the fall.
How does Duo work?
After entering your username and password, you will be prompted to approve your login with the Duo Mobile smartphone app. Watch the Duo for Students video for more information.
