MATH 1170 BUSINESS MATHEMATICS

A study of algebraic and transcendental functions, including their properties and graphs, with a focus on applications to business. Topics include algebraic fundamentals, equations and inequalities, polynomial functions and graphs with emphasis on quadratic equations, exponential and logarithmic functions, and the mathematics of finance. Prerequisite: Successful completion of Math Basic Skills Requirement.
