• ECON 2110 BUSINESS STATISTICS II

    This course advances Quantitative Reasoning Competency through applied inferential and predictive data analysis, emphasizing hypothesis testing, estimation, and modeling to support data-driven decision-making. Building on Statistics I, this course deepens students’ understanding of inferential and predictive techniques used to evaluate complex business, policy, and social datasets. Topics include hypothesis testing, analysis of variance (ANOVA), correlation, simple and multiple regression, chi-square tests, and nonparametric procedures. Students use Microsoft Excel to prepare, model, and visualize datasets; interpret outputs; and draw evidence-based conclusions that inform decision-making.  UCC Area J (Data & Analysis) Course Objectives: Learn and practice the principles, skills, and methods of data collection, analysis, making inferences, and communicating data-informed findings.
