Reporting to the Associate Director of Enterprise Information Systems, the selected candidate will provide support and technical expertise to institutional departments in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise software systems. A combination of technical skills and knowledge of functional business practices are necessary for providing leadership in the daily operational support of university enterprise systems.  Programming responsibilities include the development of web-based applications, sites and reports.    Responsibilities also include working with external software vendors and consultants to integrate software systems.  The selected candidate must stay current on emerging technologies and the potential impact they will have on current systems.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, or related field, and a minimum of one (1) year of experience providing technical support for enterprise software systems is required. NOTE: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with an internship or technical part-time work experience may be substituted for required experience.  Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills; strong written and oral communication skills, problem resolution, and decision-making skills are required.

Experience with programming languages and frameworks including PHP, ColdFusion, JQuery, PLSQL, Responsive Web Design techniques, ERP systems/databases and SAS reporting software are preferred as well as experience in a Higher Education environment.
