William Paterson University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Biology beginning September 1, 2018.
A Ph.D. is required. Postdoctoral research and teaching experience preferred.
The selected candidate will employ molecular/genomic techniques in a eukaryotic system and join a community of active student and faculty scholars to develop a strong program of research involving students in the B.S./M.S. Biology and B.S./M.S. Biotechnology programs. Commitment to teaching excellence and undergraduate research required. Teaching responsibilities will include General Biology I, Cell Biology, and/or Genetics, and upper level and graduate courses in cell/molecular biology and the candidate’s area of specialization.
