                                                                        (Range:  O11 - Salary:  $32,806.31 - $37,131.12)

Under the direction of the Crew Supervisor, Carpenters, assists the craftsmen and/or independently performs basic maintenance, construction, repair or mechanical adjustment work involved in varied types of buildings, building facilities and/or building utilities; does other related duties as required.

One (1) year of experience in work involving the inspection, repair, and general maintenance of household, office and other equipment, fixtures, fittings, appliances, machinery, furnishings and buildings.

Preferred experience includes but is not limited to:

Repair and maintenance of roofs, gutters, flashing

Exterior repairs such as brickwork, stone work, concrete, sidewalks as well as other general masonry repairs

Removal, repair and installation of flooring: carpet tile, vinyl tile, cove base

Ability to frame, sheetrock, tape, spackle, plaster, paint and stain

Repair and maintenance of office furniture, partitions, ceilings, windows and doors

Light plumbing and electrical

Utilize varied types of manual and electric tools         

WORK SCHEDULE:  Monday -Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

LICENSE:  Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey.
