The Department of Nursing at William Paterson University invites applications for a full-time tenure track position at the Assistant Professor rank. Clinical expertise in Community Nursing is required.

Cross-cultural teaching experience at the college level and a commitment to scholarship and service are required.  Experience teaching in didactic and clinical settings in undergraduate and graduate programs preferred.

Doctorate required, PhD or EdD preferred.  ABDs with assurance of completion of their degree requirements within 1 year of appointment may be considered at the rank of Instructor with promotion to Assistant Professor upon completion of doctoral degree.  A Master’s degree in Nursing is also required when the doctorate is not in nursing but in a related field.
