Thomas Owusu

Professor • Political, Legal and Urban Studies

Dr. Thomas Owusu is a Professor of Urban Studies and Geography in the Department of Political Science, Legal, and Urban Studies at William Paterson University. He has a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Toronto, Canada, an MA in Geography from Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada, and a BA in Geography and Political Science from the University of Ghana. His research works on urban issues in North American cities have been published in several leading international scholarly journals including Urban Studies Research, Housing Studies, Canadian Geographer, Journal of International Migration and Integration, and International Migration Review. He is the Director of the Urban Studies and Geography programs and Board Member of the Paterson Metropolitan Region Research Center.
