Daria Napierkowski

Professor • School of Nursing

Dr. Daria Napierkowski is an Associate Professor at William Paterson University where she coordinates the senior level community clinical rotation. She is also the co-director of the university core curriculum. Dr. Napierkowski teaches undergraduate and accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) students about the management of chronic illnesses. She has also taught in the graduate program and Doctor of Nursing program. She is certified as an adult nurse practitioner practicing in the student health and wellness center on the campus of William Paterson University. Dr. Napierkowski received the William Paterson University alumni association grant to conduct research of a peer mentor program whereby the student mentors were paid to guide and support classmates. Dr. Napierkowski has presented nationally and internationally and published manuscripts on peer mentoring, RSV Bronchiolitis, Rosacea, and student success in a second-degree program. Dr. Napierkowski published a book titled Health Assessment Demystified in 2014. Dr. Napierkowski presented in 2018 at the STTI 4th Biennial European Conference in Cambridge, United Kingdom and presented virtually at the STTI 5th Biennial European Conference on Updated Hypertension Guidelines and Cardiovascular Prevention with colleague Dr. Kimberly Prado and a second presentation on a Peer Mentor Program for Student Success.
