Matt Kendrick's areas of expertise include early modern literature, especially the drama of Shakespeare and his contemporaries, as well as rhetorical theory, composition pedagogy, writing centers, cultural studies, critical theory, and instructional design technology and digital learning.

Professor Kendrick is the Director of the Writing Center and the Assessment Coordinator for the English Department.
