July 18 - 21: Makerspace Fun

Makerspace is a place where young people have an opportunity to explore their interests, learn to use various tools and materials, and develop creative projects. Student are presented with a challenge and give specific materials at the beginning of each class. Students must then complete the challenge using only the materials provided with no further instructions. There are time restrictions for each challenge forcing students to get creative. These challenges promote collaborations, critical thinking, and application of science concepts.
