(Grades 9 to 12) College Readiness: SAT Verbal Bootcamp 4/23 - 4/30

In this three session SAT course, students will learn strategies that can be applied to all parts of the SAT Verbal section. Close reading analysis, utilization of techniques for the evidence-based multiple choice questions, grammatical refreshers, and essay writing tips will be demonstrated and practiced throughout this course. Several mini-mock exams will be given to assess the strengths and areas of needed reinforcement for each student.

Independent activities as well as cooperative grouping will be promoted in the classroom to maximize student learning and application of test-taking techniques. By the end of this course, each student will feel successful and very well prepared to tackle the reading, grammar, and essay component that will be included in the SAT Verbal section. 

This will prepare students for the May SAT exam!

This course runs for 2 Saturdays IN-PERSON: 4/23/2022 and 4/30/2022 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
