APICS’ Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

Scope:From manufacturers to service providers, regardless of whether a firm’s clients are businesses or consumers, for-profit or not, supply chain management (SCM) impacts all organizations.  Customers demand high quality and low prices. User convenience, delivery speed and promise date reliability have become vital core competencies. Flawless SCM fulfillment is essential to competing successfully in a global marketplace.

CSCP takes an end-to-end view of SCM, extending beyond internal operations to encompass every link throughout a value chain network—from supplier to end consumer—and how to effectively integrate, manage, and innovate SC processes to optimize supply chain performance.  A full suite of Web tools with an online glossary, flashcards, list of resources and practice questions is included with each Participant Learning System.

Who Should Attend?  Professionals holding either a bachelor’s degree, any of the APICS, ISM or AST&L certifications, a SCOR-P endorsement or 3 years of business experience qualify to sit for the CSCP certification Exam.  CSCP is ideal for ERP systems analysts, DoD consultants, large retailers, distributors, manufacturers, or those engaged in logistics, international trade or financing, IT or BPR implementations. Substantial reading assignments must be completed before every session, including the first.

Cost:  $2950.  These rates cover everything—36 hours of tuition, plus the following materials: CSCP Participant Learning System (1200+ pages), CSCP Slide Deck, CSCP Exam Credit (with a free retake), and access to the online Study Tools for 1 year.

Curriculum:  Classes are highly interactive with a rich variety of study tools, peer discussions, team exercises, video clips and case studies. Classes are virtual and will be held via Zoom, and will review all three modules of the CSCP program:

1.   Supply Chain Design

2.   Supply Chain Planning & Execution

3.   Supply Chain Improvement & Best Practices
