July 26-29: Model Making Using a 3D Printer

Learn to design and create space ships and super hero figurines to candles and soaps using a 3D printer. This is a beginner’s class where you will learn to design, model and handcraft your very own designer objects using a CAD software and transform them into 3D printed models. Next we will use the 3D models to create replicas and ultimately into space ships, action hero figurines or designer candle of your very own design.  Bring your creative ideas and convert them into exciting real-world objects!

Due to the nature of the class, students will submit their work online for printing. Once they are finished printing, students will have the option of coming to campus to pick them up or have them mailed to them.
