Course Description: All About Me – Exploring My Heritage

In this course, the student will develop their writing skills by writing about a subject they know very well--themselves, their family, their heritage. The student will write essays beginning with introducing themselves to each other and then write essays exploring their individual cultures and heritage by way of anecdotal family stories and tales. The session will culminate with students creating and sharing a virtual tour to their homeland. By the end of the session, the students will have a deeper understanding of and a richer appreciation for each other’s culture and heritage.
