2D Animation: Adobe Flash (Resident) 7/24-7/28/17

Adobe Flash is the leading software used to create 2 dimensional animations for film, video and the Internet. This course introduces the principles of animation and the basics of the Adobe Flash software. Students will design and create a short, character-driven animation of their own, including sound effects and interactive buttons.  The program will end at noon on Friday.

 Technology fee included.

College Resident Experience Description:

William Paterson University lays down the foundation to prepare student for success, with an option to stay on campus to experience college life.  While the focus is on academics and learning, the social experience that results from bringing students together is an integral part of our summer program.  Students discover the joy of living, studying, and relaxing on a beautiful suburban university campus with state-of-the-art facilities, design, and technology. Students will participate in structured and supervised evening activities and dine in our cafeteria (students will be assigned a roommate and two suitemates).  Resident students will participate in evening enrichment workshops with other Pre-College summer youth residents’ on-campus for social activities. College students are hired to mentor, supervise and reside with the resident students.

Only students who have registered for a full-day or combination of two half-day programs (morning and afternoon) have the option to register for the College Resident Experience.
