Micro-Credential in Socially Responsible Entrepreneurship and Innovation

This course focuses on how the next generation of visionaries will shape our society and create strategies for solving society’s problems through mission-driven enterprises. Participants will learn how to use entrepreneurial ingenuity, develop voluntary social responsibility and environmental sustainability standards, and engage stakeholders in local, national, or global communities. Participants will explore business models that incorporate socially responsible practices that impact quality of life, social and environmental objectives, employment, wealth creation, sustainability, and ethics. Participants will have opportunity to integrate a sustainability vision into the overall corporate strategy and develop a concept plan focused on solving a societal problem of their choice

Course will be given in a Hybrid/On-line capacity

Course is cross-listed with regular course. Giving participants in this course the ability to convert this certifacte into 3 academic credits at William Paterson University

The Socially Responsible Entrepreneurship and Innovation Micro-Credential is eligible for 3 academic credits, which can be used as an elective for a BS in Business, and counts as a University Core Curriculum Area 5 (Community & Civic Engagement) course. It may also count towards stackable Certificates which we will announce soon.
