July 31 - August 3:(4 Days):Lights,Camera,Action! TV and Film(Grades 4 - 6)

Students will be introduced to the basic principles of TV and Film. Learning techniques in acting, directing, editing and cinematography. Script writing, storyboarding and the use of green screens will also be introduced. These four days will be dedicated to produce commercials, film scenes, music videos and public service announcements. The program will also help students increase creativity, memory, reading skills and confidence, encouraging them to start their own film projects and content for social media.

The students will be taped professionally and parents have the option to get an edited final version upon request for an additional fee.

This workshop will be taught by Andrés López-Alicea, a theater and film director who is also constantly producing content for his YouTube show and is a permanent resident professor at Rybin Studio of Drama in the Broadway district of NYC.
