Fleece Tie Blanket Crafting (Gr. 4 - 6)

This course will allow students to learn not only a fun new craft idea but also enable them to create lasting memories! Fleece tie blankets are easy to make, requiring only fabric and scissors; students will spend the class learning how to tie blankets and creating them! Blankets can be used for the students themselves or created as gifts for friends and family members. 

Please note: students will need to bring their own fabric; if they want to make more than one they are welcomed to bring as much fabric as they like to craft with over the course of this class. This allows students to pick out patterns and colors they love and will make their projects more personal/sentimental to them!

Info for Fabrics:

To create ONE blanket, please bring 1x solid fabric AND 1x print fabric; as one fabric will be used for the back and the other printed side will be the front. You need TWO fabrics in order to tie them together to create the blanket! Pick any color / prints you enjoy!

Sizing for fabrics are as follows:

• Child's Size Blanket -- is 1 and 1/2 yards each (BOTH for the solid and print fabrics).

• Adult Size Blanket-- is 2 yards each (BOTH for the solid and print fabrics).
